It was on a rainy day that i saw the little statue with a wood base sitting on the fallen log. i had walked by this log many times, its along the horse path near Tuttle road. it fell over a little creek and sits about 4 feet off the ground, almost like a side post along the little two wood panal bridge that goes over the little creek. i hadden ever notice the statue before that rainy day. i stopped and took a picture of it to send to a friend. the very next day i went back to walk my route and when i got to the tree bridge, i looked for the little statue but it was gone. it only the base remain, and it looked like the metal statue(i think it was metal) was torn off the base. very strange, it meant the base attached to the tree instead of just placed on it. i could only imagine someone taking the time to rip it out, and it had to be on the rainy day because i was back very early in the morning. i wonder how long that little statue was there, attached to that tree.Â
